Just checking to see if Molly Malone's and East End Italian are still there. We were in STT 2 yrs ago and loved eating here. Going to be down there in 4 weeks and want to take our friends there.
Thanks!!

Yes, both are still there.
Also, Amigos, a Mexican restaurant, has opened upstairs from Molly's. And the Cellar is still next door to East End.

the cellar and east end cafe just had a grand debut of "the room" for some of us in the hospitality industry, and both eateries are still fabulous! recent renovations and new touches, plus the addition of the next-door venue ("the room") with its own full bar, makes this little complex ideal for large and small gatherings, or intimate get-togethers.

no, i don't work for them, but was impressed with what i saw last week. enjoy!!!

I would sell a kidney to be eating Duffy's Love Shack Sweet & Tangy Fiji Wings right about now...
Not to be missed!

Check your bill if at East End Cafe. I was stiffed there several months ago when they added a gratuity and after leaving my usual most hefty tip realized too late (as in the next day!) that a gratuity had already been added to the check for just two dinners. Hopefully they're not doing that any more but check to be sure in any case - it's a practice which unfortunately is becoming more prevalent on island and one with which I have a MAJOR problem. Cheers!

🙂 Molly Malone's is till there and a great place to eat. However, If you a looking for good Italian Food go to Virgilio's in Charlotte Amalia, The East End is NOT the best Italian food on the Island, and there presentation leaves a lot to be desired.
If your in to a nice romantic dinner try Havana Blue at Morning Star Beach - Down the hill from the Marriott. GREAT PLACE But expensive dinner for two with sine and dessert $150.00
Have fun

I know Sopchoppy's has change hands and name, but was it now. (Someone told me but I forgot)
It used to have good bar food - excellent pizzas but on of my favorite seats in VI.
I used to like to watch at the end of the day when all the boats were coming back in.

RT: To each his own. I love the veal dishes at East End, especially the Veal Marsala. Not crazy about Havana Blue. 🙂

Tom: Someone told you Island Time. 😉

I've always heard great things about "Off the Hook" from my guests! Anyone?

Off the Hook is closing its doors - I believe in the next couple of days.

That is sad to hear! Tried going one time without reservations and it was too packed to get in. I had heard they were a pretty busy place! Instead we went to East End Cafe' and we were not impressed.

I agree the pizza place upstairs from Molly Malones is great...so is Molly Malones! Also agree that Havana Blue is over priced. I don't mind paying extra for great food, but my husband actually left still hungry!

Bummer about Off the Hook, I had the most amazing lobster bisque last time that I was in town. It always seemed to be a busy place, does anyone know why they are closing.

It's so sad to hear about Off the Hook. When we stayed on STT we liked to start at Duffy's and then cross the street to Off the Hook. Then end up back at Duffy"s for a night cap. We always enjoyed seafood at OtH.
