Does anyone know a place for New Year's Eve 2008 that is very reasonable for a week stay on STJ?

Pnut, What price range do you consider to be very reasonable? What type of accommodation... villa, guest house, doesn't matter? How many people/rooms?

There will be (4) people. I am looking for anything that is fairly reasonable whether it being a room , villa or on a resort. I prefer to stay in Cruz bay. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you in advance

I don't want to rain on your parade, but there are basically three price seasons, off season, high season, and Christmas week even higher season. The only thing "reasonable" I read this to be cheap, will be camping at Maho or Concordia. Everyone else will be asking and likely getting a premium for Christmas through New Years like normal. I would expect to pay $3000 on the low end and sky's the limit on the high end for anything decent for the week that would accommodate two couples. Some of the best deals will likely be on the VRBO web site (vacation rental by owner) Google it and you should be able to find it.

Cruz Bay and fairly reasonable - how about the smaller guesthouses/condos like Hillcrest http://www.hillcreststjohn.com/, Serendip http://www.serendipstjohn.com/, Tamarind Court http://www.innattamarindcourt.com/.
