Linda do you know that flavored rums are made in Florida They send the Cruzan rum up there and make the flavored rums from ii!! Have you tried the Voodoo Punch?

Black cherry Cruzan and lemonade with blue cheese burger. Now that's paradise 🙂

Everytime I buy Cruzan rum, it burns me up at how much I have to pay for it (although it doesn't stop me).

Around here it runs about 12.99 a bottle. Down in NJ at the shore it's about 14.99.

Check out their new website! It is too cool with the videos. It's almost like being right there. I think they're doing some kind of marketing with Kenny Chesney (dare I start a thread???), because there's a KC link, but I didn't bother to see what that's about. I think his picture is also on the home page for Cruzan.

We pay over 15.00 per 750 ml bottle (not even a full liter) and we are in Florida (where the flavors are added) . We only paid 5.50 for a liter bottle in STX. But we ran out of our 6 bottles and HAVE to have it so we pay (and pay)!!

I can get Cruzan vanilla for $9.99 and Coconut for $11.99 here. (those are for the 750 ml bottles tho - don't seem to find much full liters of Cruzan around here) Definitely I want to have them order me some Black Cherry, with diet Coke would be awesome. I love the others with diet coke - adds the right amount of sweetness! I put a squirt of lime juice in with the coconut rum/coke and its wonderful!

Bought some Cruzan banana the other day, but haven't opened it yet. wondering what to do with it - maybe good with Bailey's and creme of coconut?? like a BBC?

and Linda - this IS really important news!!

I'm leaving to go to Michigan tomorrow for a few weeks. I'll bet I can make lots of friends if I brought some flavored Cruzan back with me. 🙂

I LOVE the new Cruzan Black Cherry Rum. I used to drink it with Black Cherry Vanilla Coke until Coke decided in June of this year to stop production of that flavor at the same time they re-introdued Vanilla Coke. So now, I mix Cruzan Vanilla with Cruzan Black Cherry with regular Coke until I pick up some Vanilla Coke. Also, out there is Black Cherry Fresca. That is good also.

Ok, for everyone who missed the Carnival parade, they handed the Black Cherry Rum out in icy cold, small bottles - off of a truck (I think - haha).

See, when you go to the parade, you get to drink for free 😉

not only do you like KC you also like my favorite - Cruzan vanilla & diet coke! Here are some banana recipes. Used to be a bunch on cruzanrum.com but it has changed a bit. Enjoy. Hubby said you can also just make a banana colada.

• CRUZCONTROL
• 1oz Cruzan banana rum
• 1oz cream of coconut
• equal parts, o.j. pineapple,cranberry
In an ice filled shaker tin add ingredients, shake and pour into an icy pilsner glass and splash with grenadine. Garnish with a bamboo umbrella, and dream away the day.

• Brians Banana Split
• 1/2oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 3/4oz Stoli Vanil Vodka
• 1/2oz Dark Creme De Cocao
• splash of cream
put all ingredients into shaker, shake well and strain into chilled martini glass, garnish with chocolate swirl glass and a slice of banana

• Banana Split
• 3/4 oz Godiva Liquer
• 1 1/4 oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 1/2 oz Kahlua
• 2 parts milk

• Banana Rama
• 3/4 oz Cruzan Banana
• 3/4 oz Cruzan Mango
• splash sour
• splash cranberry
• splash Sprite

• Rummy for your Tummy
• 1 oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 1 oz Cruzan pineapple rum
• 1 oz pineapple Juice
• 3 chunks fresh pineapple

You are welcome. Can't beat those flavored rums! Have you ever put a shot of pinnapple, coconut, orange, and banana together? It tastes just like juicy fruit gum.. you have to try it! I have never done a shot in my life..light weight here, but I have sipped this & it is just like the gum.

Creamsicle is good too:

Cruzan vanilla, Cruzan orange, OJ, splash of 7-up or Sprite. Cheers!

You can get Cruzan in black cherry from a local liquor store here - but they only ship to California at this time. It's $7.99 a bottle. Or, if you don't live in California, come visit us and we'll help you drink your rum! Now THAT is friendliness!
