Can anyone tell me if the demonstrations/problems on STJ are racialy motivated or are the more CLASS oriented? Meaning, rich vs poor, haves vs have-nots? Or is it a strict black vs white situation? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

people are saying black vs. white, but in reality, i believe that all 'racism' ends up being some sort of 'classism'...

it's all a matter of interpretation. i think that in order for people to justify ill treatment of others, it is easier for them to think and promote negative thoughts about them based upon stereotypes, or lump everyone in as a group after a bad experience.

it flies from both sides of the fence, too. but in this instance, it does appear that moneyed caucasians have a distinct edge on st. john.
