Hi: My youngest daughter is planning her wedding on your island - Oct. 24th,2009. My question is regarding my oldest daughter, who is
expecting her first child, will most likely be accompanying the family. I just need to know if anything should happen, where is the closest hospital or emergency facility adjacent to St. Thomas? Thank you for any information you can find for me.
There is a hospital right there on St Thomas. No worries, they know how to deliver babies. Have always been very pleased with the staff that I had contact with. The administration is another thing. They do rely on a large number of stateside travel medical professionals to fill the need of the community.
