Hey there, I was thinking of spending a night at Ivans while on vacation at St.John. I was planning on a Saturday night stay over. My question is does this place get real rowdy on a Saturday night(i.e. loud music and people, cause it sounds great, but alas I will be with my 2 young daughters) and are the campsites tucked away from all the action or is Ivans bar like right where you sleep,, know what I mean? Thanks

just need to ask for a cabin away from the bar.....won't be a problem.have stayed there a ( no kids w/us) and sat nights are not usually "rowdy"..thursday night is bbq....this is when the music etc is most lively...then again, you never know what will be happening on any given day/night there...that's the appeal of Ivans...always an adventure!! Ivan is wonderfull/talented/friendly... we always go over for a few days from st. john...a piece of heaven !!! always find a wonderfull/eclectic group of people..Very laid back. for more info, check www.traveltalkonline.com --BVI forum...many posters have been traveling to jost for yrs and can be a big help !!

Ivans usually doesnt get too rowdy, maybe 10 people in the bar. its a pretty laid back place to begin with. Enjoy you should have no problems everyone usually heads to bed before 10pm anyway
