I am heading down to St. Thomas on October 27th for a week staying at Elysian Beach. Where are some good places to grab a bite to eat. Also I will be coming by myself, are there any/many bars or places where singles hang out or just the couples thing mostly?

Anyone else down there at that time. I plan on doing a whole bunch of nothing, but I love to snorkel and I plan on getting over to STJ and a booze cruise. If folks are going to be there maybe we can hook up for a drink or something.

Can't wait to get out of cold Wisconsin.

RedHook would be a great place to start-mixed crowd (singles/couples). You would have a couple options right in one area-and can hop around. (all within walking distance)

Bonnie's and Robert's right there at the Elysian are good, too. But, you will probably want to venture out to Red Hook for variety. In addition to the above mentioned, you have The Frigate East, Off the Hook, Whale of a Tale, East End Cafe, Buritto Bay Deli, and even a subway! All within staggering distance of each other! Red Hood is a great little area...you'll have fun!

Hello Andre,

There are a couple of restauants at Elysian that are good. Blue Moon Cafe at Secret Harbor, right next door, is a good choice - you might do that for lunch and beach time/snorkeling. Sapphire Beach on Sunday afternoons have live music and is a fun time, nice beach too. Bolongo's Iggies is another good choice. Greenhouse for two for tuesdays in Charlotte Amalie is another option for evenings and Happy Hour on Wednesday's at Paradise Point in Havensight. On St. John you can try Woodys or Freds.
