My husband and I honeymooned at Bolongo Bay 22 years ago. At that time it was run down, no water pressure, small room, average food etc... Yet, I have been reading good things about Bolongo Beach Resort.. Has it changed that much in 22 years?? We're bringing our girls 9 and 19 yrs this Christmas to STT, would Bolongo be a good choice??

Hello KayNC,

Lots can change, your 9 year old will be 31 in 22 years - imagine that! 😉 Sorry I am no help at giving you a comparison of Bolongo 22 years ago and today. Anyhoo...

Iggies at Bolongo Bay has pretty good food in a casual atmosphere. Their karaoke night has been fun the times I have gone. They have a nice Caribbean show. The beach is ok but the water area is rocky in many spots. Their daysail Heavenly Days gets good feedback. Their is diving onsite with http://www.stthomasdivingclub.com/. Hopefully someone that has stayed their recently can share their thoughts on the rooms with you.
