Okay - that's funny!
Hey Roy
A whole bunch
I did a web search and got 35 islands in our own USVI, Then there are the islands of Puerto Rico.
Then we go to the islands of Guam and the {maybe) thousands of islands in the Marianas group.
I bet there are a bunch more I haven't found...keep looking
the virgin islands are a territory, not a commonwealth. PR is a commonwealth.
O/K - my 1st reply might have been a little misleading
O/K - it was all wrong - it seems the only islands that meet the definition of commonwealth, are Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands - The U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa are considered territories (plus a whole bunch of little dots in the Pacific)
Heck the U.S. might not even own Rhode Island - I'm going to find out who does - I bet it's the Clintons - I'm gonna google this - I'll be back.
nothin but luv
Steve
(I know I know- I should have stopped after the 1st paragraph)
