We are staying at Bolongo Bay this week. We leave for there on Wednesday.
Can we hop on a bus from Bolongo and go to Charlotte Amalie from there? What about getting back? Do buses run both ways?
The Bolongo Bay website says that there is a shuttle from there on some days at $8 round trip.

There ARE buses, but in 7 yearsof living here, I've never been on one. They are not reliable at all, and not many people utilize them. I mean, I see them a couple times a week, and they are always almost empty. Taxis are more abundant. Or you can rent a car. Bolongo is only about a 6 minute drive to tow, if there is no traffic.

Bolongo is not on the bus route. They have cabs (vans) that run the shuttle.
