I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me if this is true. I read some information on a website, (I don't remember which one, so don't ask me) that there is a possibility that a private investor is trying to actually buy Maho Bay and build a private home on the bay and have the North Shore Road re-routed around it so that the beach will no longer be accessible by the public. Is this true or only rumor? I would hate to see this happen! Maho Bay is my favorite beach on St. John! The water is always so calm and the beach is so beautiful there. I would hate to see this piece of paradise ruined by someone's greed!
