*Is it possible to pre-arrange for a
taxi from St. Thomas airport to the Red Dock Ferry to St. John and how much will it cost?
We are 2adults and 2 children (15 & 8) and will arrive at St. Thomas airport at 3pm on Thursday 12/18.

You can pre-arrange it, there are two companies I have seen people mention, but I can't find the post right now - I will look though.
There are two ferries, there is one in Charlotte Amalie also - which would make for a shorter taxi ride but longer ferry ride. There is a 4 oclock Charlotte Amalie ferry so if you got in at 3pm and collected your luggage fairly quickly then you could make that one, the next one would be 5:30. The Red Hook ferry leaves every hour, you might make the 4 chances are it would be the 5 oclock considering luggage pickup, taxi, driving... In any case
The Charlotte Amalie taxi-ferry combo: About $5 a person for the taxi plus $1-4 for luggage depending on size, Figure out the price with taxi driver for luggage and transport before boarding the taxi. The ferry is $7 per adult and $3 for the 8 year old.
The Red Hook Ferry/Taxi: The ferry is $3 a person, $1 for the 8 year old. About $10 a person for taxi to Red Hook.
If you request the taxi just for your family they will charge you more $.

Hi! We arranged for Dynamic Tours to deliver us to the ferry. They meet your plane carrying a sign with your name on it. For three of us, it is $90.00. ($50/person for one, $35/person for two, $30/person for 3 or more). Island Getaways hooked us up with them. Kathy of Island Getaways pretty much helped us arrange for everything, once we reserved one of her villas. Also, I saw one post that had really nice stuff about the Dynamic Tours guy. (I don't go until March.)

I forgot to add that the price is for round-trip taxi service to Red Hook ferry on arrival day and back to the airport from Red Hook on departure day.
