Hi!

We have a power boat lined up for Saturday March 6th. Will go to the Indians to snorkel, then Jost - Soggy Dollar, Foxy's and elsewhere. Looking for a third couple to share a good time with Captain Brandi for the day. Figure your share will probably be around $200 including gas and tip. Let me know. You can PM me at [email protected].

We can't help out with March 6, but how much do you tip a captain? We are going in July and hoping to do a charter as well and are trying to budget. Thanks. Kim

Anyone have a suggested answer for BojiGirl about the amount to tip a captain on a charter such as this?

the general tipping policy in the boat charter industry is 15 -20% of the overall cost minus fuel - certainly depending on your feeling about the level of service and hospitality - but it is often a major part of the crews income and for many of them this is a full time professional career.

Just got word back about Captain Brandi's boat for March 6th. We now have 3 people going and can take "one" other couple. There is a max of 6 people allowed by I guess Coast Guard before boats have to meet all kinds of regulations. If interested give me a email "ping" at [email protected]

thanks Mike

We will be leaving from Cruz Bay - probably from the National Park dock. I guess around 8 or 9 in the morning.
