A side note... the USPS 2008 Stamp Program includes a stamp for St. John. Here is a photo:

Also the rates are the same, 41 cents to the mainland for a letter, 26 cents for a postcard. The new airmail stamp pictured is for international mail (after the upcoming rate change).

They can be purchased at any US post office after the release date of May 16, or online at the official USPS website now, with delivery sometime after 5/16. There will most likely be a minimum purchase of 20 stamps (a full pane).

Did you know you can by "forever stamps" ? good for first class letter postage forever even if the rate increases? So you wont have to add one and two cent stamps to it to mail a letter?
