Hi Everyone - we were on island (STJ) last week and noticed that construction work at the new Pond Bay development in Chocolate Hole seems to have come to a standstill. I have read at various times there were some financial woes, was just wondering if anyone had an update. Things were locked up tight and not a worker in sight. Thanks
It was supposed to have started back up again (mid April?), but like you said, I haven't seen anything going on. Big financial problems shut them down, but they have said that they have resolved the issues, so not sure what the hold up is. The Tradewinds had a few photos on their site that showed the beach. They hand picked all of the cobble off of the beach in September and by December it was back to it's old self.
