We are trying to plan a trip for 12/07. We would like to rent a villa near or on the beach. We have been renting boats in the bahamas and would like to also do this for at least a few days. I have been looking at Virgin Gorda VS. Tortola. We like to be a bit secluded but would like to be close enough to some local night spots. Also we are planning to get married while we are in the BVI's. It is just the 2 of us and would like to find the perfect spot.. Any ideas for us??

There might be people here who are able to help with BVI info, but this is a USVI message board, so I'd suggest that you find a BVI information source to get the best answer.

Good luck 🙂

Congratulations! I would highly suggest Virgin Gorda. As for the boating, if you go to Bitter End Yacht Club they can set you up with a package where you have "run of the house" use of any of their crafts. www.beyc.com. Very secluded. Little pricey, but it's your wedding/honeymoon right? I've also heard great things about Biras Creek (I think that's the name of the place). I'm sure there's a BVI message board out there similar to this one with folks that would be better able to help you on the villa question.

For villas in the BVI, look at www.mclaughlinanderson.com and check out the villas on Mahoe Bay on the island of Virgin Gorda. Spectacular!

I don't know the details for getting married outside of the US.
