When my wife and i were in sst last year , we noticed villa's on sapphire beach . Are they affordable and available.
Just go to vrbo.com and look up Sapphire Beach...there's many of them.
If you decide to rent, just make sure that it's one of the Villas that are kept up.
I think it's a convenient and great place to stay.
connie is right about sapphire. Please be careful as some people don't keep there condos up and probably shouldn't be renting them out. I can suggest a condo, but keep in mind that I know none of your travel details. I have stayed in condo del mar, which you can find on vrbo.com, it is very nice and well kept, and the owners do a great job, just an option and good luck in your search.
If you go to the St Thomas link at the top of this page and then go to "accomodations" you'll find a few listed rental units at Sapphire. There are no "villas" per se at Sapphire, at least to the best of my knowledge. There are condo units.
If you search on this site by using search words such as "Sapphire St Thomas, Sapphire Beach St Thomas, Sapphire beach St Thomas rentals" etc you'll find a whole bunch of information.
For villa rentals, google "St Thomas Virgin Islands villa rentals" and you'll come up with a plethora of related sites.
Happy hunting and cheers!
The owners of Sapphire call the top 2 floors at Sapphire, villas. At least that's what they called them when we were down there. There are 4 floors. The first 2 floors are like big, straight through hotel rooms. They have a kitchen, which is great!
The Villas are the 3rd and 4th floor. They are one unit and an owner there told us they were considered the Villas.
I guess it all depends on how much room you need.
The second floor we stayed on was great for just the 2 of us. There was a pull out couch, but the only time I would want anybody pulling that out and sleeping there is if you had small children
Real "Villas" to me are independent units, like homes..
Yes, it's all a question of semantics as Connie has pointed out. "Villas" here in the islands are individual houses, not condos. The Sapphireowners/agents might call certain condo units, "villas" but they're not villas but condos with maybe more floor space and more of a view than some others. Cheers!
