We're planning on coming back! yeah!
Daughter is soooo into pirates. What do you suggest would be a good day for her to see some history on Pirates??
Bluebeard's Castle on St. Thomas? It's on top of the hill...in Charlotte Amalie.
I was never sure if Bluebeards was a real castle or just a hotel? We passed by it on the way back to the airport.
That will be Blackbeard's. Plenty of pirate stuff up there. Althought it has never been confirmed that Edward Teach actually was here!

Her question was....(and I quote) "What do you suggest would be a good day for her to see some history on Pirates??".
I'd say any day as long as the places are open. Why not go to your local library and pick up a book on pirates in the Caribbean as a primer then take it from there? Should be interesting.
Connie,
I hear ya when you said you wanted to wear flip-flops for the rest of your life.
Just don't sit on one!! Hee-hee-ho-ho!!! A pirate's life for me-eee.
Hey Patrick...i did mean a particular day of the week..I guess it could of been read that way, or else I wrote it the wrong way. I just meant how to spend a "day" around St. Thomas or even St. John for that matter where there's a history of pirates or their activity.
Hey Dream.....Maybe this is for another thread but that saying is on one of Kenny's t shirts. I saw it on his website. I just happened to be bored and was reading about Kenny and his t-shirts...lol
He has alot of hats by the way....
Hey Connie,
There is that cool shop at the top of the tram in CA. My friend bought her son some "pieces of eight".
