Jim - Pink Horses is definitely on our shortlist when we return to STJ (enjoying STX a LOT right now, though). PM bevm on VIOL. In December, she sent me the following info when I was inquiring about Pink Horses for a friend:

Hi Margy,
We loved Pink Horses..It's the last of three houses on a very steep driveway. The house is great! It's very breezy there which I wasn't expecting. At night I got chilly! The pool was kind of chilly (it didn't get sun until afternoon) but it didn't bother us. We went in anyway. Please know that the people in the house above Pink Horses can look right down in to the pool area so it's not private (we were told it was...). They put a "dining area" in the front of the house that in order to use it you had to walk through the gate and go around. It was weird and we never used it. I think a hottub would be perfect out there however. Very well-equipped kitchen. Couch in living area is HARD AS A ROCK and very uncomfortable for lounging on. I spun the chairs around and used them instead. Bed in master bedroom was comfortable but firm. Nice bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers.
We loved the house and would DEFINITELY stay there again!!!
