Hello:

My father in law recently passed and he wants his ashes scattered by plane on Reef Bay. Can anyone give me info about hiring a pilot/plane and/or any regulations regarding this?

Also, would look for recommendations on where to stay with two youngish kids.

First of all sorry for your loss.

Now, I do not believe this is possible as I have been informed that all area's of the National Park (Reef Bay STJ included) are a "no fly zone" maybe you may have to consider a private service on a boat.

Check with Rotorhead on the moving board...he has a 'copter and probably knows what the regs would be...
