I'm practicing picture posting. This is last winter here with white sand beaches.
Nice shot!

Behind the house at the end of our street there is a lake. So this really is our winter beach. We usually don't get this much snow, last winter was a toughie. But for all of you that need a reminder of why you live in the USVI...this is a good one!
Okay, I think I have it down now. Sunset on our beach. Sorry if I bothered anyone with this test.
Eagles, nice pictures, but I don't need a reminder :o)
I SURE don't miss that!!!!
I'm wearing flip-flops for the rest of my life! lol!
Sherri,
Love your signature!
Nice picture. What do you call that stuff that has all the tire tracks on it.
We call that snow plowing, the hard way. City doesn't plow our neighborhood, so we all take turns drivin' down it to pack it down.
Our hospital maternity wards are bursting now since this month long storm 9 months ago! LOL!
Christiansted this past winter.
Point Udall St Croix USVI - The easternmost point in the US.
I see snow on TV and via such photos - oh just luverly. WONDERFUL remembrances of first snow in Connecticut, me and my dog, Bess, hiking through the neighbourhood and then into the trails at Edgewood park late at night, Christmas lights and decorations gleaming from windows, illuminating the new snow in all its pristine glory as it gently but relentlessly covered all. Heavenly! A wood-burning fireplace we lefft and a wood-burning fireplace we returned to.
A few days later the pristine downfall turns to dirty slush and then dirty slush turns to ice and then getting to work requires (a) manualy shovelling the driveway and (b) doing the whole scrape routine on the car windows.
Thanks for the reality check!
Roto, nice shots, especially the Point Udall. How about the Hams Bluff lighthouse or Sandy Point ?
Right on.
