Since there's so much discussion about Jamie going on, I thought I would cut to the chase and get these pics up:

I'm now sorry that I didn't get more pics of the view.

I thought this was a Master - but the bed in the pic appears to be a Queen. Maybe it is just my photo that makes it look that way. Either way, this bedding blew me away it was so beautiful - I recall running my hand over it and feeling how soft it is. This is on the second floor. Sherri, help!

This is the Jamie Suite we've been discussing - on the main level. I wasn't able to capture the entire room, so you cannot see the kitchen area in this room in this pic, or the doors to the exterior. There was a lot more to this room.

THIS is the kitchen that is in the Master Bedroom - - the Jamie Suite. Can you imagine? Well, you don't have to imagine - here's proof! LOL

Here is the real kitchen in Jamie:

This is Jamie's Great Room and the door in the far corner is the door to the Jamie Suite MBR:

Jamie's Pool (and some of the people on our tour)

Jamie's Front Exterior:

Very nice! Yes Blu, you are right! The first pic. is the upstairs level master, the pic makes the bed look like a queen, but it is a king!
The pool pic. shows the back-side of me in the yellow shirt! Not my better side! 🙂
The first pic showing front ext. from left to right...Main level master, livingroom, Kitchen- more to the right you can't see! Above level shows the upstairs bathroom and area with the combo office/ entertainment/ fold out couch-bedroom! Upper master not showing!
You got more pics than I realized you had! Great Job!

ha ha - I wasn't planning on telling anyone that you were the one in the yellow shirt!

Didn't you tell me that there is lighting under the base cabinets in the kitchen? I have seen that feature in other homes and it makes the cabinets look like they are floating at night.

Yes, this is a feature that I like so much that I very well may do the same thing in my house-to-be! They used the rope lighting you see in stores, tucked it up under the cabinets where the toe kick is and then put in a switch for them! What an awesome night light! Looks way cool!

You're welcome Lana.

I want to add that the kitchen in the Jamie Suite is not exposed to the bedroom part, so you don't have to lie in bed and look at the kitchen. It has an entry-way to it, so it is hidden to the rest of the room.

Another thing I recall now is that the main kitchen has a large walk-in pantry with plenty of shelving. It is nice to be able to stock groceries in a room and not have to have them strewn around on the counters, etc and not to have to bend down looking for things in low/deep cabinets. Plus, cases of beer or soda can be stored there. If you are looking at the pic I took of the main kitchen, you can see where most of the wall oven in the rear left corner is cut off from the picture....there is a little hall area back there that leads to the pantry.

You are so helpful. You must have a great eye for detail, I would never be able to remember all of that from just touring a house. Thanks again.

Oh, good! I am glad you like. I was afraid some might think I am hogging too much of the forum. I don't mean to. But, I need to get these narratives and photos up so that I can start to plan the next one!

Cool! Thanks Rhea. I'll keep hogging then! 🙂

At least until the bustyseason starts again - and then everyone with the big bucks to visit in winter will take over and us poor "low season" visitors will sit back and wish!

Wow, it's gorgeous! I love the paint color in the second bedroom photo. And I love the pale kitchen cabinets with the red walls.

*sigh*.....

kimberly,
Jamie is on St Thomas in area away from the crowds - a residential area without resorts.....Peterborg. It is pretty much where the many of the wealthy islanders live and where a good deal of the luxury villas are. Jamie is out on the end of the Peninsula - at the tip. There's one road in and out of Peterborg, so it is really safe. It is also where Clinton stayed when he was on twice STT for his family vacations while he was President (for better or worse 😉
