Indigo Pool on the only cloudy day of our trip. One side of the pool has those loungers you see. Great for sunning. The other side has dining tables with umbrellas. The pool is open to dining patrons for lunch or for dinner -and it looks so beautiful at night! There is a small waterfall that cascades down the rocks on one side of the pool.

There is also a roofed area for those who want to be away from the pool and any sun. And there is a bar in that area if you just want to come for cocktails and don't want them served to you poolside.

Hi Bluwater. Just curious about this place as we might want to check it out if we hit STT for a day from STJ. Would this be a place that a taxi would easily know how to get us to from Red Hook? It's part of a resort, right?

Thanks

mary beth

Thanks Coden!

MBW, yes, your taxi will know this place. It is at Magens Point Resort, which really isn't much of a resort - it is a small place and I think a good part of it is under renovation anyway - but the restaurant is owned separatey. It is also just before the last part of the road that takes you down to Magens Bay - so your taxi driver will probably ust drop you off at Indigo on his way down to Magens Bay with other people. I don't often see taxis here at this restaurant, so it may be best to get the driver's phone # so you can call to be picked up - or maybe the resort or restaurant can do that for you.
