*Here is my question:
Does anyone have any information about the "Fat God" carvings at the pool to the right of the waterfall. There was a fascinating picture and article about the south coast of St. John and the "Fat God" in the March 2001 Caribbean Travel and Life magazine. My husband and I have hiked to the pools twice since reading the article and cannot locate the "Fat God" carved into the rocks.
Can anyone tell us anything about this?
Thanks!

The petroglyph pool is on the Reef Bay Trail. You take the Petroglyph trail which is right off the Reef Bay Trail. If you go down to the pools and look around the water level that is where the carvings are. I am not sure about which one is the Fat God.

Perhaps if you call the National Park Service you can find out more about this.
