Help, after reading everything online, I'm not sure which boat to take a trip to the BVI's on! Any suggestions between the Limnos charter or Stormy Petrel? Really want to see Virgin Gorda and the Baths.

Also, is anyone familiar with the villa - Island View Estate on Skyline Drive? Would love to hear your comments!

For what it's worth , I used Limnos on my first trip to Virgin Gorda . They did a nice job. The last 3 trips I took to the BVI , I used Captain Raymond with See&Ski from red hook ! Raymond is great and see & ski always does a nice job for us !

You, check out Born to Rhumb. We took him in May and it was an excellent trip and he'll tailor your trip to what you want.

I've never seen anything bad said about him or his boat on this message board and that's why we took him.

Limnos is a larger power catamaran, holds up to (?) 40 people. Stormy Petrel and Pirate's Penny (sister boats in the fleet) hold (?) 10. You are served cold cuts on Limnos and stop at Cooper Island for lunch on PP/SP (you pay for lunch.) Similar routes, but Chevy vs Caddy service.

We had a great day on Stormy Petrel/Pirates Penny in April 2006. This is a guided tour around STJ to Virgin Gorda. It includes a tour of The Baths where the guide tells you the scientific info about them as well as some of the stories. They pointed out formations such as The Lions Head and The Whale and took you off the main path up and around the rocks to a ledge for jumping down into the ocean. If you are less adventurous they had another route. There was a lunch stop on Cooper island and we were lucky enough to have a stop at The Indians for snorkeling. Very professional and friendly crew. They have been doing this tour for many years. Have a nice time.

I like Limnos since if my old brain remembers they take you to the docks and taxi to the Baths and you get to walk through the rocks front wards and not back wards
