Several years ago we stayed in the lower unit. We saw the upper unit also while we were there. The difference between the two at that time was that the kitchen up was smaller and the bathroom was not as open as the lower unit. That's probably 10 years ago so can't comment on what it's like now. Loved the location.

I have stayed at the gatehouse twice before and am heading there again in 18 days!!! Needless to say I am very excited. The agent says that the toilet has been replaced downstairs and new whirlpools and furniture outside are some of the changes.

Thanks for the responses, I look forward to going. Not too worried about the small kitchen b/c we won't be cooking, the most important thing to us is the location.
