We are comming back down in May and was wondering if parking at Red Hook is finished. We had to park at the High School last year. Is there enough or should one get there early?

The parking at the ferry terminal is complete and open.

Well being Catholic I have always found you have two choices

"St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around. Something is lost but cannot be found."

"Mother Cabrini, Mother Cabrini, please find a spot for my little machiney."

I have always found that St Anthony works a little better.

Timing is everything. In Feb. we found the lot at the Ferry Terminal to be either full or lots of spaces. No in between. The lot up behind the Marina Market is good and they will give you a ride back to the Terminal but we twice found this full as well. It's a crap shoot without some real local inside scoop as to best times to find open spots or not.
