Anyone have a current status of the parking situation at the Red Hook ferry? Has the parking lot opened or are you still looking for spots on the road?

At one time there were boulders on the side of the road, so you couldn't park there at all. In November we were able to park right in front of the terminal for the ferry. There was also suppose to be somebody there collecting the fare, but there was nobody there, so we just drove out.
Depending on the time of the day, you can try the parking right at the terminal or right across the street behind the Marina Market and walk across.
