When we came in 2004, we found out that there was a certain day/time that we could take the sky thing up for free. It was in the evening. Is this still the case? If so, does anyone know what days and times?

Thanks

40 days till we leave (but who's counting) lol

Well at one time it was free for the Wednesday Night Sunset Party, then they started charging full price, but if you were staying on island you could show you room key and you would only get charged $5. We normaly drive up on Wednesdays, for a short time the road was closed for the sunset party so you had to take the tram (that's how we learned about the hotel key). The road is opened again (last Oct. anyway) so you can drive up if you choose, I really can't say for sure if there is still a charge for the tram, but if there is show your key.

If you go up on Wednesday stop in the Pirates Chest and tell Sean we said HI.

Yep, not free at all, now. I believe it is $17.00 per adult round trip. We drive up.

someone just posted in their trip report that it was $20/PP. I kind of wanted to do that but we didn't have time. I'm wondering now if it would've been worth $40 for the view. But of course, they are suppose to have the best Bushwackers.
