It took me almost a year to do it, but this week, I did it. I put together all the video clips from our Sept. 2008 STJ vacation and made my first movie.
The process was tedious, and I learned I'm a better photographer than videographer, but it sure was nice to string together a bunch of short clips into a 30 minute revisit to STJ.
I made a DVD of the trip, and it worked nicely. My next task is to make a "web version" for my VInow.com friends to see.
And no, those were not tears on my face as I watched our vacation.... nope - not at all...
Great photos!!
Hey there!!
These photos were awesome.....VERY professional !! They should be in a calendar or something ! We are looking forward to visiting St. John for the first time in Oct. I will write down some of the these places to visit !! I love photography too....and just bought a D300 ! I can't wait to take it on our trip. Thanks again for posting these pictures!! They were sooooooooo beautiful !! You have a great eye for photography...keep it up!
Your Pictures are AMAZING!!!! We didn't get over to St. John on our first visit to STT. We were very busy with wedding festivities for my daughter's wedding but hopefully we hill have another visit in the future! We did do a day sail to the BVI and that was fantastic! Thanks for sharing your pictures- again they are amazing!!!

I feel your pain brother...trying to figure out a way to get there as I type...
noticed you stayed at Serendip we will be there in Nov how did you like it? This is our first trip to St John so we are very excited love to snorkel. Your photos were just great!
What fantastic photos! Love them, love them, love them!
Hmmm... if I have a garage sale, severly cut my clothing budget, pack a sack lunch... yup - next year it's USVI again!!
Congrats on your movie! What better way to feel like you are actually there, even if for only 30 minutes. Now you can watch it over and over again, especially those times when you need a "virtual" vacation! Don't forget to make a Painkiller! 😉
You are an amazing photographer, I fell in love with a couple of your pictures, but all of them are truly beautiful.
Thank you for sharing!! Good to know I'm not the only one who takes missing the islands to heart! :$)
It was requested that we remove web links from our signatures, so here's the link to my photos.
