Funny Day - worth sharing:
Laundry today, and a Sunday cocktail:
Suddenly, a completed load of DARK colored clothing is covered in white fluff!!
Seems that a pesky roll of toilet paper had fallen in from aside the washing machine. (room in basement is dual laundry and full bath - little remodeling proj from 1998 that would have been harmless if the TP stand hadn't broken 6 month ago.
Okay, so although most clothing should be hung, I need dryer to remove fluff.
Put clothing in dryer and now have fluff shooting across my lawn - because I had to remove dryer lint catch due to overfill of fluff.
The roll was new. And so was most of the clothing 🙁 (darks are such expensive items)
26 days and a wake up til wheels up.........daydreaming these days away til we hit the blue water, down island views, lazy flip-flop, calypso chic island vibe.
Until then, back to the job of monitoring the summer "snowfall" from my dryer.
Here's an interesting villa on STT's coveted north side. I am hoping for feedback from the owners on things like road access, beach access, yr built, etc.....

Ha! Must have been the weekend for washing paper (wished it had been money!). I apparently washed kleenex's yesterday and had to go through the same ordeal. While not as bad as yours, but I can feel your pain!! 🙂
Enjoyed the laundry humor.... I've finally finished my STJ trip laundry so I needed something funny to think about the washer and dryer! I hate how even the clean clothes that you DIDN'T wear on your trip still have the faint dampness of the t-shirt you wore to the beach the day before leaving...
Didn't realize you were going in 26 days... my, my, my I am jealous. I want a mango colada. I want to be in Cinnamon Bay. I want to watch the iguana that lived in the tree outside my window at Gallow's. Yes, I am officially jealous.

Blu,
That's funny! Laundry has got to be the most horid chore known to man. Ahhh, I remember well the days when my daughter was in Jr. High and would leave notes in her back pocket only to become obliterated in the wash and deposited back onto all the lovely dark clothing. Gggggrrrrrrr!!!
So glad to be in the good company of you all with the paper/lint/laundry horrors!
The only part about laundry that I really mind is HAULING all of that stuff uo and down two flights of stairs with every load. I can't wait to have a house with an upstairs laundy - or build one in my closets or something.
