Here's an interesting article from USA Today Online.
http://www.usatoday.com/travel/columnist/brancatelli/2006-02-24-brancatelli_x.htm
According to the article, In 2005, there was a 20 percent increase in, "mishandled baggage," over 2004. Furthermore it says, "US Airways ... had the worst mishandled-baggage rate among the major carriers."
LOL. Tell me something I didn't already know. The easiest way to get to the Caribbean from Seattle, is to fly US Air and transfer a couple of times. It seems that I'm always missing something by the time I get to Charlotte Amalie!!!

The title of this thread sounds like a depressing country song.
Interesting article on lots of issues related to air travel.
I found this especially interesting: "But it should be noted that JetBlue also offers the roomiest coach seats in the air. All of its chairs have 32 or 34 inches of legroom compared to the industry standard of 31 inches of "seat pitch."
Another score for JetBlue.
Thanks John.
Well if the airline does not loose your luggage! Your next
problem with be the King airport in St. Thomas.

I have been traveling for many years and never lost my luggage until 2 years ago....on USScare.
Went back to the airport the next day to pick it up. (thank God it was just the next day). Funny thing was we got back to the hotel and later that evening received a call from the front desk that they dropped off our luggage. Hummmmmm
I told them of course that it was not ours.
