We're coming back in November for our 4th trip and are planning to stay at the Concordia Ecoresort. My question is- will the island be humming as usual, like in the Spring, or are some places/services closed because its offseason? We've been there before only during the high season and wondered if they shut down, (like Cape Cod does) off season? Thanks!

Concordia is great! Check out my review of it at wheretostay.com.

Regarding the 'hum'...we'll still be humming! Alot of people prefer that time of year due to less people and everything is still open. Not like Cape Cod's off season at all.

Have fun!!!

Thanks a bunch, I'll read your review. We're totally psyched, always have that STJ air and water in our blood!

My husband and I did a Moorings charter in November 2 years ago. The only difference we noticed was the weather. Seemed to be a little more rainy than in the spring. Still beat the weather in the states and we had a great time!!

You can click the "Weather link in the upper right of your screen for averages, but remember that just because it shows November as a month with a lot of rain, it's not like rain in the U.S. It's usually a passing shower and then sunshine and rainbows after.
