They are releasing water today from the swampy area on the other side of the access road parallel to the beach. There was so much rain that parts of the road got flooded and water accumulated making the road only passable to higher wheelbased vehicles like Jeeps and 4x4 pick up trucks.

We were told that swimming would most likely be allowed Sunday. So today and tomorrow we have to find alternative beaches.

I guess I got it wrong when I said they released the waters. It turns out to be a natural breach... oh welll... my bad.

Anyways, Magens has been open to swimming since yesterday and all is well. We were there today and the kids had a blast as usual.

Met H.L. from Walk on Water kayak tours after he finished a Magen's Bay tour with another group and scheduled a kayak/snorkeling trip with him out of Hull Bay tomorrow.with the kiddies. Will see how it goes.
