Hi! We're 2 couples in our late-20s and we're considering spending a week in St. Croix, but I'm worried it would be too quiet. If there any nightlife there?

Well, there's certainly the casino at the Divi resort! I'm going to suggest that you look at the publication St. Croix This Week, which probably has waaaay more information than you want/need. It's available on-line at http://www.print2webcorp.com/news/virginislands-sc/splash.asp

Among many other things it lists events and entertainment. Also, there are bars in both Christiansted and Frederiksted that have music and dancing. I'm past the age of needing that, and ownership of these establishments changes frequently enough that it's hard to keep track of what's where, but dance clubs definitely exist if that's your interest.

Sunset Jazz in Frederiksted is great, and many folks have a great time at Cheeseburgers in Paradise. There's plenty to do, you just have to look a tiny bit harder than some places.

Does St. John have better nightlife? What about Tortola or Virgin Gorda? Thanks!

There are several clubs in downtown Christiansted and also some bars along the boardwalk that stay open late and are popular hang-outs. There are some other beachfront restaurant/bars scattered around the island that are also popular with various age groups.

St Croix absolutely has a better night life than Tortola or Virgin Gorda. The BVI's tend to go to bed early.
St Croix has a much better night life than St John. You might find more action on stt but you have to put up with bad tourist crowds.

On St Croix You have DOZENS of clubs and bars with live entertainment. You have stage plays and concerts even art festivals.. The variety of music is incredible.

Tonight at Cheesburgers is the "all Star" steel band and cajun night. There is latin night on Fridays at the Pub and brew with margarita and shot specials. Where ever you go you will find music. Have fun...

Will there much live music on STJ in early March on any given night? I know it wouldn't be the club type stuff, but some of the best times I've had on STJ years ago and Tortola in the past were at small places watching some good live music. I haven't stayed on STJ in quite a few years now.
