I will be visiting St. Thomas in early March 2003. I am from Louisiana and will be missing Mardi Gras during this trip. I am looking for a place where we can go to have a fun night on the town. I would like to know of some places where we could have a few drinks and dance the night away. I have not been able to find much by searching the internet. Please help us find a place to spend out nights. Thanks, Holly from Lousisiana.
Well there will be nothing quite like Madi Gras in St. Thomas. You can spend Tuesday night at two for tuesday at Greenhouse in Charlotte Amalie. Try Duffys on Friday and Saturday night. Epernay is also good on those nights - but late night around 12pm ish. Shipwreck in Havensight is pretty good for burgers and pool. The Paradise Tramway on Thursday or Friday night - cant remember which - has happy hour and you can take the tram for free up to the bar and thats pretty fun - not for dancing but for drinks and hanging out.
Ask around when you get here as well to see if there are any things going on. Events and such.
