*I am visiting St.Croix in Nov.
I lived there in the 60's
I'm sure much has changed
Where is best open air live music bar?
Best beach for snorkling with few people?
And do we need to worry about crime?

Hey Daniel,

I think the best open air music is at The Cane Bay Beach Bar (also some of the best snorkeling on the island there, but kinda crowded). They don't have bands there every night, so call ahead. If your here during the full moon, Cane Bay has an excellent Full Moon Beach Party where there will be 2 sometimes 3 bands.

For beach privacy go to the Chenay Bay Resort East of C'sted. Park at the resort and walk down the beach a couple hundred yards for privacy and a nice piece of reef that is fun to snorkel. When your all snorkeled out go back to the Chenay Bay resort get a drink and lay in their hammock. Good Livin'

Bless Up,
J.
