I called my brother and told him to change his dates on his trip, because he'll save about $225 per ticket this way!

THANKS! I'm working feverishly to arrange free SkyChoice tickets from Lexington to Miami to combine with this rate. Connections aren't working well - might have to stay overnight in Miami to make it happen. Delta is really stingy with the SkyChoice, but who knows - I might get that VI vacation after all!

If you overnight in MIA, just stay at the MIA airport hotel. It's usually not that expensive and it's so convenient! Great restaurant too.

I'm IN!!!! Booked my Delta flights for October 30 - November 7th. I have 2.5 hours at Miami to collect luggage and re-check-in for American's flight! We are staying overnight in Miami on the way home, but am using HiltonHonors points for a room right by the airport (yeah - I travel a lot and am REALLY CHEAP!!).

I didn't think we would make it this year - we're taking our 2 girls (10 and 12 years old) on a cruise in January. This fare sale really got me stoked and for $125 per person, I suddenly found justification for going again!

CShell - THANKS for passing on the information - I'm going back with your help!

You are most certainly welcome. In fact, I am a bit jealous since I bumped into it accidently when checking my miles and then I saw it appear later on other boards! I do happen to have a $100 voucher and I thought it was pretty funny that I could fly from NYC to STT cheaper than taking a taxi from the airport to Red Hook and back! Glad that it worked out for you! .
