Well its the 17th and we just got back yesterday. (boo hoo cry cry)

The trip was fabulous. STJ was beautiful. We stayed in the Hakuna Matata on STJ. The house is amazing and has amazing views of Cinnamon Bay and Jost Van Dyke(Soggy Dollar).

Plenty of people have been inquiring about the Baths and the swim to the beach. Yes it is a bit of a swim but NHII has kick/boogie boards and noodles that you can use to float. (as well as life jackets...and dont forget your boddy is much more boyant in salt water than in fresh water) I didnt notice much of any current there. Yes some spots of the Baths can be tricky to crawl or walk through but worth it. We have a couple of people who arent the best swimmers nor in the best physical shape and they did fine.

NHII did an awesome job. Lauren was great at taking care of all of our passengers and getting drinks and snacks. (she also makes a smooth painkiller) Capt. Dave did a great job with history and making it a smooth ride. Dave..If you read this I accidently double tipped you, dont worry about it I think you deserve what you got but, I will be requesting a favor of you in the next couple of weeks. I have your number and I will give you a ring.

Food on the islands is wonderful. We didnt have one bad meal or any meal that we werent satasfied with. My favorites were Morgans Mangoe, Rhumb Lines, La Tapa, and Paneni Beach. Ohh and what was it called ?? Marina Cay...where you eat with NHII.

I have pictures that I will be getting developed and a video that I am editing and will put it up for everyone to see to bring back memories for the post visitors and show the pre visitors what they are in for.

Till Then

Graham

Thanks for letting us know....we ultimately decided to go on the Stormy Petrel because it will end up costing a little less and with a family of 4, that should be helpful. We also weren't interested in going to Jost and the Soggy Dollar with two teens. Were the crowds at the Baths that bad??? We usually try to avoid trips that attract big crowds....we used alternatives in Hawaii for this reason. Any suggestions? Did you hear anything about the Stormy Petrel while you were in STT? Thanks

I didnt hear anything about Stormy Petrel... One thing when looking at other boat companies is that NHII is able to go to so many stops due to the fact that their boat is a bit faster.

Going to Jost with teenagers..I wouldnt worry, they would probably enjoy it. A little down the beach is a floating trampoline and you can do water skiing there and they have the pull behind bannna boats.

Crowds at the Baths..All I can say is cruise ship..Thats the majority of what is there. Lauren did a good job at running through the tight spots and holding people back on the other side so that our group can come through. But the crowds werent to bad when we were there to answer your question.
