We paid $307 round trip, direct from JFK. Some good deals were out there some months back. We'll be there in March, can't wait.....
This article was also in our St. Louis paper. I will say that for the very first time we got round trip tickets for $321. We are going to St. John in May for two weeks. But, I couldn't find this price for any other two week period. So, I thought it was incorrect to act like it was a typical thing to happen. I felt like it was a miracle. We have previously paid anywhere from $500 to $800. Also, I mean to try to email the author, due to the fact that she said there were no jelly fish. That statement is incorrect.
The author was obviously too busy looking at quirky wrinkly folk to notice the jellyfish!
One more thing I would add to this article. It's best to have a passport in case one wants to take a boat to the British VI or waters. I tried to give my infor online to the author, but somehow I messed up registering, their website keeps telling me that I entering incorrect email.
We paid ~ $302 total PP non-stop CLT to STT for April 2010...
There are very few days when jelly fish are any problem here --
There are all kinds of airfare deals to be had -- depending on all kinds of factors
You do Not need a passport to come to the USVI
After 36 years here I do have wrinkles - would having lived anywhere, and was quirky from birth.
Even though you don't need a passport to go to USVI, my point was that it would be good to remind people that once you get to USVI you might want to see the BVI and then you would need a passport. Also, I'm not trying to say that jellyfish are a gigantic problem, but I have certainly seen them so it is incorrect to say that there are "no jellyfish".
