Have never been on the beach, but have snorkeled the reef on a day sail. As I recall, the beach was mostly rocky, but there was one patch of sandy area with what looked like a trail heading inland. Rick

We tried and failed. 🙂

The hike from haulover looked doable but we tried it became so difficult that we turned back. We met a guy when back to the road, and he reported the rock scramble was possible but would take at least two hours each way. Too much for me with 3 daughters.

I found a video on the hike from inland but found that area slathered with no trespassing / keep out signs. 🙁

I'll be back st john! Gonna hire a boat next time!

The bay was a great place to spend the night on a sailboat with my wife and friends. Had fun snorkeling and relaxing but didn't notice any sort of beach.
