I understand for New Year's Eve The Ritz is having a "White Party” Caribbean style. Has anyone ever attended this party in the past, or possibly just know anything regarding this?? I am looking for any information / feedback regarding this event. Is it worth going to?? We're looking for a fun way to celebrate New Year's Eve Carribean style....
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Kindly,

If I may ask, just what is a "white Party"? Fake snow or what?
It usually means a party where everyone wears white formal dress clothes.
started in the 60's with truman capotes black and white ball and then the gay men of the late 70's took it over for winter parties in florida and summers on fire island it reached it's zenith in the mid 90's and now it's all rather a yawn but i suppose it will be a nice night at the ritz
Hi Bob-
I understand a "Carribean White" beach party to be you come in Carribean "white" colored clothing. I've been to white themed parties in the Hamptons and Newport, RI. Its quite nice...very posh.
Thank you West for your input...educated me too! 🙂
But I'm still wondering if anyone knows anythign about this party??? Has anyone ever attended???
Thanks so much!
