I'm sorry if this is a repeat question, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something fun to do on New Year's Eve. This is my first year on St. Thomas (arrived in September), so I'm still trying to get in the swing of it all. Thanks to all of you for posting such things as drugstore.com and other helpful websites and ideas! I really really appreciate all of the locals on this forum! I follow you on twitter and read often!
Sincerely,
Tara Morrissey
There's plenty going on and you should keep an eye out for advertising in The Island Trader to see what in particular would appeal to you. The big mad bash is at Foxy's on Jost if you're into a sprawl of bodies, an overindulgence of alcohol and live beachside music! Dolphin Water Taxi is running a ferry over there and there'll be other ferries running too so check with the local companies as I'm pretty sure you have to reserve a space in advance. The East End is usually busy that night, as is Yacht Haven Grande so you'll have plenty of options. Have fun!
Of course there is the long standing tradition of going to Jost Van Dyke for the celebration. Dolphin Water Taxi running special for $110 per person for the evening. Check Virgin Islands Daily News for the ads.
