Hello- I will be traveling to st thomas in the third week of June for a day on a cruise ship- My husband, myself, and my son (8 years old) want to sepnd the day at a beach that has motorized water sports for rental, someplace casual to eat on the beach, and easily accessible by taxi or bus- that's another thing are there buses that run all day through at convenience places- other islands we've been to we normally jsut hop on a bus- I appreciate any help you can give

Fortunately for the VI, there are no motorized water sports (none that I have seen) available on the beaches. The beaches in the USVI are more laid back and tropical. There are strict policies about noise, pollution, etc.

Your best bet may be to rent jet skis from the Sapphire Marina, which is located at the very end pf Sapphire beach and around the corner. You can use them out in the bay...far enough out that people on the beach aren't affected.

I am not sure about the bus. I know the cruise lines offer excursions to Sapphire.
