I just finished uploading a whole series of 15, 4-5minute videos shot in St. John this past winter. Most of them have the "Reluctant Tour Guide" theme which is kind of fun. Lots of underwater video and awesome pictures. Check them all out at: http://www.travelistic.com/user/AndrewBurnett. Search for AndrewBurnett (one word) or St. John, USVI. I really enjoy my trips to the USVI and this is one way to share the experience with others. Enjoy!

I forgot to mention all of the topics of the videos. Some are all underwater video, there's two about hiking the Reef Bay Trail, one about hiking Ram Head, diving Salt Pond, diving Haulover Bay, diving Waterlemon Cay, Spearfishing at Flanagan Island, diving the Mangroves of Hurrican Hole, diving Newfound Bay, and hiking to Newfound Bay. Also, there is an overview of the St. John from the east end to Cruz Bay.

Thank you for this wonderful work. I'd happened upon the Haulover video a little while ago and enjoyed it so much. We also love the east end of the island and were delighted to see so many videos from there. And perhaps most of all, I'm just thrilled to see Vie and now be able to have a visit with her whenever I want.

Thanks so much.

Lex,

Glad to hear that you liked the videos. They are kind of folksy, but I was trying to tell the story of what an adventure the East End of St. John is. I am amazed when I hear that visitors to St. John sometimes never get out even as far as Coral Bay! Heck, that's just where the best part of St. John starts!! The south shore beaches are by far the best for snorkling too. It is not uncommon to have 60-80 feet of visibility out on the rocks at Salt Pond Bay. Of course, you have to be willing to swim out 150 - 200 yards to enjoy it. And don't forget Vie's Beach for great West Indian Fare, her Day Beach ($3.00 each donation) and my favorite - Vie's Camping Beach. $25.00 per day to stay on a multi-million dollar property and pretty much have it all to yourself - including 100 yards of sandy beach!

Great videos. Thank you.
We've stayed in Calabash and the last trip at end of East End. We love it out there.
Long Bay Beach is an excellent snorkle esp. out to Pelican Rock

Mick,

Glad to hear you have been enjoying the videos and St. John's East End. But, let's keep it a secret, lest the word gets out and we have a stampede of folks out there to spoil the tranquility. Hah!!

Just wanted to say that I just uploaded a non-USVI video to my travelistic profile page so don't get confused. There are 15 other usvi videos to look through at http://www.travelistic.com/user/videos/AndrewBurnett
