Has anyone ever charted a boat named New Horizons? It leaves from St Thomas and does day trips to Virgin Gorda and Tortola. Is it worth it? Is the crew nice? Anyinfo will be GREATLY appreciated.
I've done it about 30 times. It's an absolutely GREAT trip! Worth MORE than they charge! (IMHO)
Thanks Marty. Is it possible to charter the entire boat for me and my wife?? How much??
Can they pick you up in Cruz Bay in St John?? Thats where we are staying.
No problem picking you up on STJ.
Just for the two of you? Hmm,they will probably doit, but it'd be mighty expensive. Probably not worth it, as they usually take, like, 16 passengers,so you'd probably have to make it worth their while. If you want a a private boat, just call Mathias at 340-775-6265 and book one of his cats w/ a captain. It'll be much less. Or you could contact Holly and ask her about Breakaway. That might be cheaper than going with the NH II. Or you might try Magic Moments. They are a high end trip, and will probably be open to making it a private trip.
Thanks for the info. I've been trying to get in touch with Scubadu for two weeks but I cant get them to return my calls/emails....oh well...I'll take my money else where.
Scubadu? What/who is that?

Wow, Marty!
I went to Google, punched in New Horizons, USVI, and the second entry on the Google page refers to Marty on STT! You have arrived, my man!
Wow, I'm impressed...never knew I was so "up there" (been told to put a lot of things up there - haw-haw), but didn't realize I was so highly regarded. What was first?
