My husband and I want to go on a snorkeling boat charter to the British Virgin Islands from St. John during the week of July 28th. We have contacted Lion in Da Sun and they told us to look for other couples wanting to rent the whole boat. Private charters seem to be the way to go but we need at least 4 more people to make the price worth it. Anybody going to be in St. John that would like to do a private charter as well???

Still just the two of us...we haven't found anybody else yet but would like 2 more couples or 4 more people to join us.

How much would it be per person with 4 more people?

Each person would be around $130-140 with the fee, gas, customs, and tip. I think with this company you get to design your own trip. We would love to see the Baths, but if that is too far, we really want to go to the following places: Snorkeling at The Caves and The Indians on Norman Island, Jost Van Dyke (explore and eat at Foxy's), Smugglers Cove on Tortola, Willy Ts floating restaurant, snorkel Watermelon Cay off St. John, hang out at a couple beaches. We are up for more as well! We are leaving for St. John tomorrow night so we would need to get your information and book a date with a boat charter asap if you want to go. If we don't hear from you by tonight, we'll book our own trip. But we would love to get a group together so that we can all create our own itinerary and not follow the boat charter's intinerary.

Any day that week that is available! If you look at the message I wrote above yours in reply to someone else, you'll see what we want to do on our boat charter. Let me know as soon as possible!

SheilaW,

Awesome! Wednesday works perfect for us. Are there four of you? A family or two couples?

We are going on Lion in Da Sun on Wednesday with Sheila (read her posts below) if you want to join us. Six would be the max amount on the boat and make the cost lower for all of us. Let me know!
