Hi, I'm going to STT March 11th through the 18th, figure I will only need a car from the 12th to the 17th. I want to go over to STJ for a few days (probably 2 or 3) as well.
Should I rent cars by the day or rent one in STT and take it over via ferry to STJ?
Can anyone tell me the cheapest place to rent a car in STT? (I have heard the airport is cheaper)?
Lastly, I am 22 so I need a place that will rent to someone under 25. Do any agencies rent to people under 25, and if so who?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure who rents to those under 25.
Some people think the car ferry to STJ is a hassle, but it's probably quicker than renting a car here, then renting a car there?
(esp. with your age restriction)

Try Dependable Car Rental as they are a small outfit and are always very helpful. Being over twice your age I really don't know about the under 25 issue. Tell them the Rick and Deb from NH can't wait to see them in July.
In my experience, Hotwire has the cheapest rates. You pay in advance and get the rental from a reputabel agent. Mine came form Avis, but was much cheaper than Avis direct. As far as under 25, I don't know. You'll probably have to pay a premium.
