Hi all! I've enjoyed reading this site in planning our May 2005 trip to St. John. The airline just contact me and said one leg of our flight, from STT to Newark, was cancelled and we'd have to spend the night at Newark before returning home at 8am the next morning. NOT! That's definitely not my idea of ending a dream vacation.
Instead, we will get to San Juan, PR on our own and fly out of there two days later. We've always wanted to see old San Juan and this will whet our appetite for a future trip. Now I have to figure out the best and cheapest way to get from STT to San Juan. Orbitz shows Caribbean Sun as one of the carriers doing this route. Any suggestions for us?
Thanks, Maggi
seaborne airlines flies right out of the harbor downtown STT. Yes they are seaplanes. It makes it convenient since you don't have to schlep over to the airport, its fun, and much faster than going through the typical security crap at the airport. Plus it lands right downtown in old San Juan so it saves you cab fare in PR as well.

American Eagle has several flites per day b/w STT and SJU.
Thanks, az and Mike. I'm checking out those sites. A question: on Seaborne, what is the VI Fast Ferry?
Goes between STT and St Croix
