My spouse is coming down with the bronchitis I arrived with. I'd like to get him some meds before we leave on Wednesday, or I know the flight home will be hell. Do we just go to the hospital?

Yes, or any of the walk in clinics around.

I think going to the Emergency room might be kind of expensive. Behind the hospital is the Paragon building. I go to the Healthcare Connection to Dr. Hartchorn. Call frist, as he's some days on STJ. He's a good doc, IMHO.

If you are staying on the east end call red hook family practices . sorry don't have the no. if you call early they are good about fitting you in. much cheaper than emergency room and the pharmacy is right down stairs.

We're on the north side. I'm not too worried about costs, as long as they accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. I have very good coverage. I just want to get him on some antibiotics and keep the ears open. Flying sucks when you're sick - I was on our way down last Wednesday.

Needless to say, this trip to St. Thomas hasn't been the best vacation we've had....... although we've gotten plenty of rest.

Thanks, Gari Ann.... We're back at work trying to get our ears unplugged. We did find a doc in CA that accepted our insurance, but we'll see what the BCBS explanation of benefits look like.
